Property in Pamporovo and Momchilovtsi

Property deep in the Rhodopi mountains can be found in the town of Chepelare and the resort of Pamporovo respectively.

Both Chepelare and Pamporovo are developing fast as ski centres and both contain a number of property investment opportunities.

The town of Chepelare may be famed for having the longest ski run in the country, but is not so well known as Pamporovo ski resort.

For this reason property in Pamporovo is in general more expensive than in Chepelare.

We would also recommend an investment in property in Momchilovtsi - the nearby popular village has a snowboarding resort just outside it. Momchilovtsi is likely to expand dramatically as people hear more about it. It is one of the most beautiful villages in the region - being set in a "hill in a valley". New developments are being contructed not on the hill, but on the valley hillsides surrounding the "hill" where the village sits. These new developments afford a most magnificant view of the village itself, and the hills and mountain peaks beyond. You can see right up to the Greek border!

A new trunk road is being built that will connect Bulgaria with Greece. The road will pass through the border in this area and will lead down to Kavala on the Greek coast.

This means that within less than an hour and an half you can be on the coast of the Agean sea! Much quicker than if you were to drive to the Black sea. Clearly this represents an unparalled property investment opportunity; holiday homes bought in this area will be suitable as either ski villas summer walking and hiking lodges. In addition they're not far from the beach!

We suggest you think very carefully about investing in this area; it's an opportunity that won't be around for too much longer. Property prices are certain to increase as Bulgaria enters the EU.
